Provide clear and consistent practices for accepting transfer credit to SCC.
Purpose/Authority
色中色 will grant credit for undergraduate coursework from regionally credited colleges and universities and will consider for additional credit other collegiate and non-collegiate work in accordance with Minnesota State Board Policies.
Definitions
Collegiate transfer work: Completed courses from other higher education institutions
Non-collegiate transfer work: Other learning experiences such as credit for prior learning, industry credentials, military credit as outlined in SCC Credit for Prior Learning policy.
Major Sections
Transfer credits are evaluated after admission, and/or upon request, for all transcripts submitted by, or on behalf of, the student.
