- No State Grant or MN Dream Act Funding for Summer 2025
Students enrolled in summer 2025 courses will not receive funding from the Minnesota State Grant or the MN Dream Act. - North Star Promise (NSP) Still Available
Students eligible for can still have tuition and required fees covered through this program in summer 2025. NSP does not cover the cost of books. - No North Star Promise Plus (NSP+) starting summer 2025
NSP+ (for NSP-eligible students who also receive Pell Grants) will not be available for the summer term and will likely not be funded going forward. - Possible Reduction in State Grant Awards for 2025-26
Due to the funding shortfall, state grant amounts for 2025-26 will likely be lower than this year. Additionally, a new application deadline of July 31, 2025, is being proposed for students seeking aid for the 2025-26 school year. - Work Study
