Scholarships are funding sources that do not need to be repaid. Scholarships are offered by schools, employers, individuals, private companies, nonprofits, communities, religious groups, and professional/social organizations. Ensure scholarship information and offers you receive are legitimate. Remember that you should not have to pay to find scholarships or other financial aid.
SCC Foundation Scholarships
The É«ÖÐÉ« Foundation awards over half a million dollars in scholarships each year! Foundation volunteers and staff work hard each year to raise funds for these scholarships, with overwhelming support from businesses, organizations, and individuals, including SCC faculty, staff, alumni, and community members. Supporters of the Foundation want to help SCC students succeed in achieving their goals. Many types of scholarships are available, and you don’t have to be a straight-A student to qualify. Scholarship criteria may include program area, work experience, academic achievement, community involvement, activities, financial need, etc.
The application window for SCC Foundation Scholarships for the 2025-26 school year is January 6 - March 31, 2025.
