Lowest tuition in the region at $205.03 per credit. More than $500,000 in SCC Scholarships. Based on 2023-24 tuition and fees rates. Does not include extra expenses for online delivery, course fees, or course differential. Books, transportation, and living expenses also not included.More Value for Your Investment

SCC is the most affordable higher education option in the region with average tuition and fees at $5,966 per year.  Over 70% of all SCC students receive some form of financial assistance (grants, work-study, student loans, or scholarships).  For eligible students, this assistance can cover most direct costs (tuition/fees).

For students who demonstrate high financial need, state and federal grants can often cover all tuition, fees, and books. The result: many students have NO out-of-pocket expenses for their direct educational costs.

Help Paying for School

Even though SCC is one of the most affordable options in the region, not everyone has money set aside for college. 色中色 is committed to helping you pay for school so you can reach your goals.

There are many ways to pay for your education, including:

Financial Aid

Even with affordable tuition costs, you may need help covering your school expenses. Complete a FAFSA, or Free Application for Federal Student Aid, to see if you are eligible for financial aid.

Scholarships

Supporters of the Foundation want to help SCC students succeed in achieving their goals! There are many types of scholarships available, and you don鈥檛 have to be a straight-A student to qualify for an award.  Also, consider applying for scholarship opportunities from external sources.

Credit for Prior Learning

色中色 helps you find savings based on what you have learned through work experience, training, community services, and self-study.

Work-study

On-campus work-study positions provide income to assist students in meeting the cost of attendance at SCC. Qualifying students can find work in a variety of positions including clerical, tutoring, library aids, and more.

With bustling campuses and communities, there are a variety of employment opportunities that can provide income while you're still a student.
