Purpose/Authority
The purpose of this policy is to establish an acceptable limit for credits to apply toward degree requirements.
Scope/Applicability
Program exceptions to this policy may be requested by a program faculty and be approved by Academic Affairs and Standards Council (AASC).
Major Sections:
- Liberal Arts & Sciences credits shall have an indefinite life span; however, there may be a restricted time frame on specific Liberal Arts courses in specific academic programs.
- Technical credits shall have a life span of 5 years from the time the course was completed. Exceptions to this policy may be requested and must be approved by the program advisor and Academic Dean.
