Surgical Technologists possess expertise in the theory and application of sterile technique and combine knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, instrumentation tools, and technologies to facilitate a physician's performance.

The 2-year Surgical Technology program equips you to play a vital role in patient care and safety. As a surgical technologist, your duties involve: 

  • preparing patients for surgery
  • sterilizing instruments and supplies
  • actively participating in surgical procedures
  • managing pre and post-surgery cleanup

As part of the requirements to graduate, students must take the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Certifying Examination for Surgical Technologists.

Program Start Date: Fall Semester

The Program Application Form will open on March 17, 2025.

Program Application Deadline is Thursday, July 24, 2025.  Acceptance, Waitlist, and Declination letters will go out on Monday, July 28, 2025.
