Communications is a dynamic, changing career area and one where you need to be both well-versed in the theory of communication arts and also possess a well-developed ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences. Whether you have aspirations to work in traditional areas of communication or lean more toward digital and media based media, a Minnesota State Communication Studies Transfer Pathway allows you to take the first two years of your communication studies bachelor's degree at É«ÖÐÉ« and then transfer to a Minnesota State university as a junior to complete the degree.

General Education and Transfer Option Programs

Starting your college education at É«ÖÐÉ« is an easy way to benefit from smaller class sizes with expert instructors and save money. Learn more about É«ÖÐÉ«'s affordability on the Paying for College page. 

If you complete a Transfer Pathways program at É«ÖÐÉ« and are admitted to a Minnesota State university, you will be guaranteed junior status and all 60 associate degree credits will count toward the related bachelor’s degree. Students must meet program admission requirements at the four year institution.  Talk with an SCC advisor for details.
