Research shows that the more actively engaged students are – with college faculty and staff, with other students, with the subject matter being learned – the more likely they are to persist in their college studies and to achieve at higher levels. Identifying what our students do in and out of the classrooms, knowing their goals, and understanding their external responsibilities can help us create an environment that can enhance learning, development and retention.
In order to gather this important information from our students, É«ÖÐÉ« administers the following surveys. SCC is intent on being a leader in education, and data received via these surveys assists us in identifying where we are and what further action might be helpful in our continuing work to support and strengthen teaching and learning.
