Student Account Provisioning Timeline
When you gain login access to products and services offered by SCC.
Please note that your StarID must be active. Be sure to change your StarID password every 180 days.
- E-Services: Date of admission
- Office 365 and Email: Two days after official admission
- Visiting and PSEO students: 30 days before their first registered semester.
- D2L: Two days after official admission
- Registered course access is not open until the start date of that course (typically the first day of the semester)
- Campus WiFi: Any time! Please connect all personal devices to SCC Public
- On-campus computers: Two days after enrollment in course(s)
- Zoom: SSO follows Office 365 provisioning
Student Account De-Provisioning Timeline
When you lose access to products and services offered by SCC.
Please note that your StarID must be active. Be sure to change your StarID password every 180 days.
- E-Services: Two years after the last date of course attendance
- Office 365 and Email: 365 days after graduation/transfer
- Visiting and PSEO students: You will lose access on the last day of the semester.
- D2L: Courses will close on the last class date (unless otherwise noted by the instructor or advisor).
- Campus WiFi: Any time! Please connect all personal devices to SCC Public
- On-campus computers: Minimum of 30 days after the last date of course attendance
- Zoom: SSO follows Office 365 provisioning

- Office 365 and Email: Two days after Human Resources confirms a start date.
- D2L: Two days after Registration receives your name to be associated with a course.
- Campus WiFi: Any time! Please connect all personal devices to SCC Public
- On-campus computers: On the provided start date
- Zoom: SSO follows Office 365 provisioning

- E-Services: Some services will discontinue on the provided end date.
- Office 365 and Email:
- Staff: At the end of the provided end date.
- Faculty: 120 days after your last associated class has ended (and/or the provided end date).
- Retirees: At the end of the provided end date.
- D2L: Two days after Registration receives your name to be associated with a course.
- Campus WiFi: Continuously accessible. Please connect all personal devices to SCC Public.
- On-campus computers: At the end of the provided end date.
- Zoom: SSO follows Office 365 provisioning
