色中色 received its reaffirmation of accreditation in December of 2020 following the AQIP pathway. The College's next affirmation review takes place in the 2029-2030 school year.
SCC now has transitioned to the Open Pathway for maintaining its accreditation with HLC. It follows a 10-year cycle and is focused both on quality assurance and institutional improvement. The Open Pathway is unique in that its improvement component, the Quality Initiative, affords institutions the opportunity to pursue improvement projects that meet their current needs and aspirations. 色中色 conducts an Assurance Review between accreditation visits. The next Assurance Review is due in July 2024.
Some programs at SCC also have accreditation and certifications by external agencies which have published standards, evaluation criteria, and methods for evaluating if criteria are met.
