Stay safe with Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response training from CWE

Get an overview of OSHA requirements surrounding Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response, and take away key best practices used in industry to go beyond compliance and keep yourself and your employees safe. Through a combination of classroom and hands on training, you will be able to confidently and safely perform tasks and responsibilities that fall under OSHA’s HAZWOPER regulations.

CWE trainers are capable of training to all response levels:

  • First Responder Awareness: Those likely to witness a substance release and are responsible for initiating emergency response by notifying the proper personnel.
  • First Responder Operations: Those who respond to releases for the purpose of protecting nearby persons, property, or environment by employing defensive actions while not actually stopping the release.
  • Hazardous Materials Technician: Those who respond to releases with the sole purpose of stopping the release.  A much more aggressive and offensive role involving approaching the point of release in order to stop the release.
